Gear oil pump new disassembly process
Characteristics and working principle of gear oil pump:
I. Characteristics
1. The gear oil pump is mainly composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, pump covers, bearing sleeves and shaft end seals. The gears are nitrided and have high hardness and wear resistance. When the pump is working, the lubrication of all parts in the pump can be automatically achieved by using the conveying medium;
2. The structure is simple and compact, easy to use and maintain;
3. It has good self-priming ability, so there is no need to fill the liquid before starting the pump;
4. The lubrication of the gear oil pump is automatically achieved by the conveyed liquid, so there is no need to add lubricating oil in daily work;
5. The gear oil pump relies on the elastic coupling to transmit power to work, which can make up for the slight deviation caused by the installation process. During operation, when the pump is inevitably subjected to hydraulic shock, it can play a good buffering role;
6. The gear oil pump is suitable for conveying lubricating oils that do not contain solid particles and fibers and are non-corrosive, the temperature is not higher than 150℃, and the viscosity is between 5~1500cst or other liquids with similar properties to lubricating oils.
The gear oil pump uses two gears to rotate with each other to work, and the requirements for the medium are not high. Usually its pressure is less than 6MPa, and the flow rate is also large. The gear oil pump is equipped with a pair of rotating gears in the pump body, one is active and the other is passive. Relying on the mutual meshing of the two gears, the entire working chamber in the pump is divided into two independent parts: one is the suction chamber and the other is the discharge chamber. When the gear oil pump is running, the active gear drives the passive gear to rotate. When the gears go from gear meshing to disengagement, a partial vacuum is formed on the suction side, thereby sucking liquid. The sucked liquid fills each gear of the gear and is brought to the discharge side. When the gears come into meshing, the liquid is squeezed out to form a high-pressure liquid, which is then discharged out of the pump through the discharge port of the pump.
